Professional Background

  • 2015 – present – AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow: associate, university professor. My area of interest includes artificial intelligence, knowledge engineering, context-aware systems, affective computing, software engineering. I am a lecturer and tutor in the PhD program in Computer Science.
  • 2005 – 2015 – AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow: assistant professor. My area of interest includes Artificial Intelligence, knowledge engineering, including rule-based expert systems, software engineering, data base systems, real–time and embedded systems, ANSI C, Prolog programming, computer security and cryptography, Unix. I teach software engineering and quality management on post-graduate studies.
  • 2011 – to present – Jagiellonian University in Cracow: assistant professor in Cognitive Science Laboratory in Institute of Philosophy My area of interest includes applications of Artificial Intelligence, knowledge engineering in Cognitive Science.
  • 2005 – 2010 – Cracow University of Technology: lecturer in Institute for Computational Civil Engineering L-5 Teaching expert systems.

I am the author of the first GNU/Linux administration training in Poland. Since 1998 over 250 system administrators from all over Poland have been trained on this training. While working for ComArch S.A. I prepared a complete GNU/Linux administration course path.
