The Fourth Cracow Conference on Graph Theory "Czorsztyn 2002" was held in the old-time Tourist Village Czorsztyn. The Tourist Village is a beautiful, peaceful complex of historic wooden villas from the 19th century, located in Kluszkowce village near Nowy Targ, a hundred kilometres south of Cracow. It is situated by Czorsztyn Lake on the Dunajec river in the marvelous surroundings of the Pieniny Mountains.

The conference attracted 97 participants from 20 countries and all inhabited continents. There were 7 invited lectures given by: Adrian J. Bondy, Mieczysław Borowiecki, Michał Karoński, Alexander Rosa, Vera T. Sós, Carsten Thomassen and Zsolt Tuza. In addition, there were 74 contributed talks (running in two parallel sessions) and three open problems sessions. A Special Issue of Discrete Mathematics containing selected papers together with research problems presented at the conference is vol. 307 (2007) ISSN 0012-365X.
