Manchester Metropolitan University - Department of Computing and Mathematics

We cooperate with the Manchester Metropolitan University, Department of Computing and Mathematics, especially Moi Hoon Yap's Visual Computing Lab. We work together on projects concerning skin images.

The researchers from Manchester Metropolitan University:

  • work with us on image processing and deep learning projects
  • promote our joint work in UK healthcare industry

Stanford University - Department of Pathology

We cooperate with the Stanford University Department of Pathology, especially M. Bogyo Lab. We work together on projects concerning Clostridium difficile infection and clustering bacteria response.

The researchers from Stanford University:

  • suggest us important medical topics
  • consult us on medical issues related to the research
  • provide image databases and help create ground truth

Chair of Pathomorphology UJCM

We cooperate with Jagiellonian University Medical College, Chair of Pathomorphology, when conducting researches in the field of histopathology.

The specialists from CoP UJCM:

  • consult us on medical issues related to our research
  • help us in preparing the ground truth
  • help us to assess the results from the medical point of view

University Hospital in Krakow

We cooperate with University Hospital in Krakow, when conducting researches in the field of histopathology.

The hospital:

  • grants us access to histology slides (i.e., processed specimens ready to be scanned in order to obtain input images)

The National Synchrotron Radiation Centre SOLARIS

We cooperate with Jagiellonian University Synchrotron, SOLARIS, when conducting researches in the field of anomaly detection in multivariate diagnostic signals.

The NSRC SOLARIS:

  • gives us an access to diagnostic data to analyze
  • provides us with expertise on accelerator physics related to our research

APTIV

Our research about seat occupancy is supervised and tested by APTIV company branch located in Kraków. APTIV provides cutting edge equipment for both researchers and students, by funding labs for our department.

Centrum Leczenia Nowotworów Skóry i Czerniaka Szpitala Wojskowego w Krakowie

We cooperate with three dermatologists who provide us with unusual image labels for skin lesions and advise us about the current directions in dermatology that are worth exporing.
