during my secondary school (sorry, I have no current photo).
I am working in the Institute of Electronics, AGH Technical University. Our team makes research on digital signal processing for robot vision applications. Together we are working on construction of hardware and software for real-time video image processing and recognition. The project involves a multiprocessor system (VME standard) and an intelligent frame grabber provided with a set of pipeline processors for video signal preprocessing (frame grabber computing power: 300 MIPS).
In our project we are using FPGAs made by

Since we are expirienced with FPGA design, we set up a separate PLD course for students of our faculty. The course includes simple PLD design as well as complex Xilinx FPGA design practice. Students are taught to capture and simulate the design using standard CAD/CAE tools. Then they implement their projects physically with a special XILINX Education Kit we built for the needs of the course.
