I have been accepted as a student participant for this year's Google Summer of Code 2012 program. My proposal for Aerspace Blockset for Xcos has been accepted and I'll code this summer away as Scilab developer. Scilab is an open source alternative. Although it already has very good aerospace library (CelestLab) developed by CNES it lacks the ability to use those functionalities in form of Xcos blocks, analogicall to blocks available in Simulink. My goal will be to change that. More details on my accepted proposal after the break.
