My research in particle physics is devoted to widely understood diffraction in proton-proton interactions ("pomeron" physics).

Beginning from 2012 I participate in the STAR experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) in Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL), NY, USA. As a member of Ultra-Peripheral Collisions (UPC) group I perform an analysis of elastic proton-proton scattering data, contribute in implementation of GEANT4 simulation of the Roman Pot detectors responsible for tagging protons scattered at very low angles and take part in preparations for the detector upgrade (Roman Pot Phase II*).

Scientific supervisors: Dr. Leszek Adamczyk, D.Sc. Mariusz Przybycien (prof. AGH).
