General information

Intelligent Information Systems Group (IISG) is a 21-researchers part of CS Department led by prof. Edward Nawarecki. IISG scientific activities concentrate around the following topics: artificial intelligence, knowledge representation, methodology of design and implementation of information systems, decentralised information and decision support systems in management of distributed industrial organizations, technology of operating agents in local- and wide-area computer networks, decentralised expert systems. Research activities are focused on both formal tools and the implementation of the prototypes of such systems.
