About me:
I am researcher and teacher, employed as Full Professor at AGH University of Science and Technology
Faculty of Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunications, Department
of Computer Science. At AGH I perform the following functions:
- Deputy Head of the Department of Computer Science for general affairs.
- Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Information Technology and Telecommunications.
Outside AGH I perform the following functions:
- Deputy Chairman of the Computer Science Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
- Deputy President of the Try IT Foundation.
I'm engaged in teaching various courses for students, mainly Object Technology, Component Technology, Heuristic
Methods of Optimization. My research focuses on nature-inspired computing,
agent-based distributed computation, artificial intelligence, parallel and distributed computing and simulations.
