1. Research project No 8 8506 018 04 of Polish State Committee for Scientific Research on "Automated analysis of electronystagmographic signal" caried out from 1.04.93 to 31.03.94 in the Institute of Automatics UMM. Head of the project (the final report was accepted with honours). The project concerned the methodology of acquisition and processing of oculomotoric signal and particular attention was focussed on diagnostical applications of post-caloric nystagmus.

2. Research project No 3 3129 91 02 of Polish State Committee for Scientific Research on "Multicriterial integrated system for crossroad trafic control using video-detectors" caried out from 1992 to 1996 in the Institute of Automatics UMM. Research engineer (head prof. Andrzej Adamski). The project concerned the acquisition of trafic parameters with use of video cameras system and automatic image processing aiming at computation of trafic light controlling signals.

3. Research project No 8 T11E 00612 of Polish State Committee for Scientific Research on "Antropomorphic visual system" caried out from 1.01.1997 to 30.06.2000 in the Institute of Automatics UMM. Research engineer (head prof. Zbigniew Mikrut). The project concerned the development of a visual system that applies the knowledge about the human eye physiology. This approach resulted in a significant data reduction at the stage of image acquisition.

4. Research project No 8 T11E 00717 of Polish State Committee for Scientific Research on "Perceptual method of electrocardiogram compression" caried out from 1.07.1999 to 30.06.2002 in the Institute of Automatics AGH-UST. Head of the project. The project concerned the ECG-dedicated algorithm using the irregular temporal distribution of diagnostic data in the signal. The estimation of local data importance was based on a perceptual model. This approach results in an optimized discrete data representation in the non-uniform space, that is much more effective, but do not introduce signal alterations in its relevant sections.

5. Research project No 3 T11E 00127 of Polish State Committee for Scientific Research on "Optimization towards the functional adaptivity of a telemetry cardiomonitor" caried out from 22.11.2004 to 21.11.2007 in the Institute of Automatics AGH-UST. Head of the project. The project's objective is the development of a prototype of ambulatory cardiologic monitoring system using an adaptivity of remote cardiomonitors interpretation software in a broad range of functionality and the practical implementation of a monitor server co-operation with use of a wireless connection.

6. Research project No N518 426736 of Polish State Committee for Scientific Research on "Research on multimodal measurements of selected vital parameters of the human and they prospective application in the residence infrastructure of elderly od disabled" caried out from 22.04.2009 to 21.04.2012 in the Institute of Automatics AGH-UST. Head of the project. The project's objective is the assesment of reliability for various alternative (e.g. vision-based) measurements referenced to clinical diagnostic methods. Consequently most appropriate mnethods are selected as supportive to the surveillance system dedicated for elderly or disabled residence infrastructure.
