Podano formuły matematyczne pozwalające na określenie wymaganej minimalnej liczby próbek pierwotnych dla uzyskania założonego błędu oszacowania. W drugiej części pracy dokonano oceny porównań międzylaboratoryjnych obejmujących analizę techniczną i elementarną węgla kamiennego. Porównano zgodność uzyskanych wyników oraz precyzję stosowanych metod badawczych.
