I am mainly interested in magnetic properties of condeced matter and the physics of phase transitions. In particular, after 2-years postdoctorial research training at Purdue University in USA in 1993 I got involved in the research of transport properties and lattice dynamics of magnetite (and also magnetite doped with Zn and Ti), close to the Verwey transition. At present, I study lattice dynamics of zincferrites Fe_3-yZn_yO₄, and how the magnetite structure changes exactly at the Verwey transition. I have published more than 50 papers; some recent are collected here.
