MECHATON AGH 2024 Successfully Completed! ✅

Congratulations to all award winners and participants. You can find the list of competition winners here: Competition Winners.

MECHATON AGH is a hackathon-style competition organized by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics. Its objective is to foster creativity and innovation among students and staff by engaging participants in team-based mechanical and robotics projects.

The event would not have been possible without the support of our partners. We encourage you to learn more about the participating companies and their activities: MECHATON 2024 Partners.

Starting from the 2024/25 academic year, students will benefit from digital flipcharts and a modern consumption tracking system during laboratory classes. The implementation of these solutions has been made possible through Action 16 – Human Resources Policy Supporting the Development of Teaching Competencies, carried out under the Excellence Initiative – Research University (IDUB) programme at AGH University.

This project aims to enhance the quality of laboratory education by introducing modern digital tools that support both teaching and learning processes.

During the competition, students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics tackled practical challenges in the fields of strength of materials, mechanics, and the theory of machines and mechanisms. Among all registered participants, the jury evaluated the submitted computer simulation results and awarded prizes to the three best teams:

🥇 1st Place
Andrzej Lisowski – Team TurboSymulacje
🥈 2nd Place
Michał Dekarz and Eryk Dorywalski – Team Go Ahead Eagles
🥉 3rd Place
Wiktor Komorowski and Aleksander Łyko – Team LK_Sim

Congratulations to all winners and participants!
