The theme of the Symposium outlines challenges to electrochemical and surface science associated with understanding of dissolution and passivation phenomena related to material deterioration, material designing and surface modification. The meeting will be devoted also to application of micro and macro-electrochemical methods in corrosion monitoring and corrosion prevention.
