On December 15th, the 1st CoUrbIT workshop was held in Cracow, Poland.
The topic of the workshop was the assessment of the CoUrbIT model. Five experts in different fields related to urban regeneration, not associated with any of the CoUrbIT partners, took part in the workshop. Their profiles have been carefully chosen, so that the CoUrbIT model has been analysed from different perspectives.
In the first part of the workshop, Prof. Remo Dalla Longa of Bocconi University introduced the experts and presented their experiences. For each of the experts, he presented an interesting analysis of how their work relates to the CoUrbIT model. Then, the experts delivered their presentations. All of the presentations have been highly acclaimed by the participants.
In the second part the experts and the participants discussed the CoUrbIT model.
In the third part, the experts answered several important questions prepared by the Bocconi University team.

Meeting of Revitalization Forum information.

Meeting of All-Poland Revitalization Forum Association - 15-16 of December in P這ck.
Forum members and their well-wishers have spent two days in a beautiful P這ck (http://www.ump.pl/en/) - an old, traditional but yet dynamic in its development city in the centre of Poland. During the works hosted by prof. Krzysztof Skalski, Chairman of All-Poland Revitalization Forum Association (http://www.fr.org.pl/client/show_section.php?id_section=140&show_levels=1), and local programme of revitalisation of P這ck was presented. Also the outcomes of the group projects were presented with subjects as listed below. Among the guests one needs to mention Mr. Marcel Konieczny who is a well known european expert in twinning projects. The programme of the meeting was heavily loaded, but there was time for the participants visit recently renewed relics, which are part of the revitalisation programme in P這ck.
Subjects of working groups:
1: Designating of areas to be revitalised.
2: Knowledge of the area and the tools of diagnosis.
3: Connecting the revitalisation programme with the local authorities' strategy.
4: Project management and the project-team management.
5: Outer partnership for project building and executing.
6: Creation of local tools and qualifying for participation in European Funds.
7: Local inhabitants' participation and public relations in project.
8: Safety in the city.
