The City of Leipzig, Office for Urban Regeneration and Residential Development, has an extensive expertise in the valorisation of inner-city areas using integrated approaches to improve urban, constructional, economic and social environment. The development of urban renewal strategies according to the specific requirements of the city, its implementation and the acquisition of national and European funding are its main sphere of action. The office is involved in two further INTERREG IIIB projects, UTN II (Urban Technology Network) and LHASA (Large Housing Areas Stabilisation Action).
