Inverse Problem

Quick method of establishing diffusion coefficient in homogeneous materials, based on the concentration profiles obtained from non-stationary measurements and the solution of Fick's second Law.

Inverse Problem of Fickian diffusion of ions in homogeneous materials. Diffusion is calculated according to analytical solution of Fick's second Law. The Goal Function is defined as a sum of squares of differences between corresponding experimental and theoretical concentrations.
